He said that the USD -2,992 freight shows a new global opportunity for mango growers in the state, which is sent to Dubai -based importer Vergro Trading from Lucknow Mango Pack House.

Under the Indo-German AMD project, three farmers’ producing institutes (FPOs) in Lucknow region were trained and enabled for agricultural exports.
Among them, Irada Farmers Manufacturer Company Limited and Malliabad Farmer Manufacturer Company Limited have obtained direct export orders from Dubai for decimal mangoes.
For the first time both FPOs are exporting mangoes separately, which have become a historic milestone for mango growers in the state. “Mango exports from Uttar Pradesh are constantly increasing under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Our goal is to help the mango farmers in the state to establish a strong presence in the global market. The government is increasing all the necessary support in terms of international exports,” Singh said. Pti
